Classmates List

Our ostentatiously pleasant and exceedingly polite Committee Volunteers are already making phone calls in an effort to contact our fellow classmates to alert them to our upcoming 50th Reunion.

Have YOU received a call or email inquiry?  Ha-a-a-a-ve you???

Committee Volunteers merely wish to A) say Hello, and B) confirm our Reunion contact data.*

The actual signing up to attend the 50th Reunion events of 2019 will be a separate form and process -- more info upcoming soon here... on this site.

IF you've received a contact from previously mentioned Committee Volunteers, and have supplied your basic information, or have taken time to respond via the contact registration form on the previous page [again, simply click on your browser's back button to find the form's link at top of page], we will shortly publish a list of collected names right here on this website.

We have gratefully received a few lists from nice folks who have thoughtfully sent along their own collected current data.  Thanks -- you da bomb!  A Committee Volunteer may still contact you to verify.  Not for tax reasons, not for party affiliation, but for satisfying moments of giggles -- what fun -- and to insure accuracy...

Might you possibly be married, cozily joined, share a refrigerator, or somehow snugly close to another 1969 Wilson grad?  Or (the scandal!) perhaps similarly hitched to a grad from another year's Wilson High class?  1968? 1970? 1956?  No one's judging...  but please let us know.  Besides your generally beating the odds (BTW this week's Lotto payoff could very possibly finance a trip to, uh like, Ottawa or Saskatoon -- or buy France).  In an age of wide-spread people dispersion and diffusion, many on the Committee find this singularly fascinating and charming (those of us blissfully inhabiting this category, perhaps less so -- ha).  However, the Committee would like to note this about you, and them.  And, it's not that we don't believe you... but those same Committee members would greatly appreciate a photo for inclusion right here, on our stage... so don't be shy, email a snapshot to us at:

A number of classmates have also submitted their information via the class Facebook page (On Facebook:  Long Beach Woodrow Wilson High School Class of '69). Thanks for being part of the world wide web's social media!

However, if you don't see your name on the soon-to-be published list on this site, we very well might not have you listed.  Give us a shout via the registration form on the previous page... we gratefully accept submissions!

If you would, please help us find 'lost' grads and classmates.  If you know of someone who might very possibly be expressing casual curiosity or is interested in attending, please encourage them to contact us via the contact form, or email us:

Since our 40th Reunion in 2009, yes -- yes, it was nearly ten years ago -- some classmates have actually moved or changed phone numbers.

I know... I know... in comparison, the rest of us appear as rooted as a California Redwood.  But, in case you are one of those whose "boot heels have been wanderin'," (more apologies, Mr. Dylan, Sir -- there's really no need to sue) but we likely do not know where you are or how to contact you... not that there's anything wrong with that.  However, if you would please enlighten us, you might very well gain immeasurably wondrous benefits!

Remember:  incorrect contact info severely limits our ability to alert you to the upcoming 50th Reunion festivities.  HORRORS! YOU COULD ACCIDENTALLY MISS IT!

And remember and don't forget -- your speaking with a polite and thoughtful Committee Volunteer (exceedingly courteous, fun, etc.) does not obligate you for your signing up for the actual 2019 Reunion Events at Buoy's on the Belmont Pier and the event at the LBYC.

So, for tomorrow's test, pages 48 - 71 and answer the questions on page 72, please provide us with your contact registration info on the previous site-page (the link actually does says 'Register with the Committee') as this supplies us your contact info.  Think of it like, well, an inventory of grads, all stacked neatly in a warehouse, forklifts buzzing around with rotating caution lights, serious people with hardhats and clipboards... (ah, you've actually never been in a warehouse, have you?)

The actual Events Sign Up for our 1969 50th Reunion for the fun at the Belmont Pier and the LBYC, will to be performed later starting in early 2019 with a separate form and process... a form that isn't yet available.   Whew... and good luck on the test.

* Note: absolutely no 50TH REUNION classmate's data will be shared with any other agency, institution, entity, Federal or State department, including NSA, CIA, DMV, or particularly that annoying know-it-all with arm forever raised in Sophomore English.

Events under discussion

A Sunday Picnic

Together with a...

Campus Tour

We are exploring a Wilson Combo:  a duality, a combination Sunday Picnic in the Wilson High Quad AND Campus Tour for Sunday, October 20th.  We're currently considering this as a NO COST event.  Like the idea??  Please let us know.  If enough folks want to do this, our Reunion Sign Up form will include this as well.  More to come.

Golf Tournament

In past years, a golf outing / tournament has been organized.  Beyond your arranging for your own links appointment, of course, please contact the committee to express your interest in a possibly wider-scale event, and we will monitor for those so interested.

In Memory

The 50th Reunion Committee is planning a memorial tribute with display and photos, viewable at the LBYC event.

If you have a submission for us, we would respectively ask that you contact the Reunion Committee.

... I dreamed a dream that made me sad
Concerning myself and the first few friends I had
With half-damp eyes I stared to the room
Where my friends and I'd spent many an afternoon
Where we together weathered many a storm...
Laughin' and singin' till the early hours of the morn
With hungry hearts through the heat and cold
We never much thought we could get very old
We thought we could sit forever in fun...
But our chances really were a million to one

As easy it was to tell black from white
It was all that easy to tell wrong from right
And our choices they was few so the thought never hit...
That the one road we traveled would ever shatter and split
How many a year has passed and gone?
Many a gamble has been lost and won
And many a road taken by many a first friend...
And each one I've never seen again

As easy it was to tell black from white
It was all that easy to tell wrong from right
And our choices they was few so the thought never hit
That the one road we traveled would ever shatter and split
I wish,
I wish,
I wish in vain...
That we could sit simply in that room once again,
Ten thousand dollars at the drop of a hat...
I'd give it all gladly...
if our lives could be like that

Memory Book

Ah!  Those of us who can still remember anything, very likely a shrinking minority, will recall our nicely comprehensive and wonderful 40th Reunion Memory Book.  A note while you're searching your house for it -- it looks nothing like the above.  Nevertheless, it's still very cool, in a Dorian Gray kind of way, to see what one used to look like in 2009, much less 1969.

If you've somehow missed it, it's now the year 2018 CE, and we've learned some hard truths how printing costs have been dramatically rising. The 50th Reunion Committee has been wistfully looking into the concept and creation of a digital -- yes -- Digital Memory Book that would remain continuously accessible on the internet for your 24/7 reference -- all those glowing memories, as well as a few chuckles and grins.  Reunion Committee-level discussions are in process. We would gratefully welcome ideas in this arena.

Rest assured, the Committee will do it's best to seriously consider future accessibility, a term many of us have come to appreciate -- in a way I'd really rather not go into.

Our 1969 Reunion Site heartily welcomes comments, suggestions, biting literary criticism, and even rants for adding informative elements.  Please send 'em via email at:

We vow to give each and very submission, at the very least, full and sober attention.

Come gather 'round Bruins wherever you roam... And admit that the past 50 years have just flown, And accept it that now we are all old...
